Yamame (山女魚) electronic and raw edits that captureJazz saxophonist Akira Miyazawa's 1962 debut album captures the essence of a mountain stream through avant garde sound. Named after a freshwater salmon, "Yamame" blends Miyazawa's passion for fishing with his pioneering vision of Japanese jazz. Originally titled simply "Akira Miyazawa," the album was reissued in 1977 under its now iconic name. A historic masterpiece that helped establish Japan's jazz foundation.
